Jose,
I just happened upon your image. I love it! Color and detail are great. I also like to shoot organs and wish I had known about this when I was in Innsbruck. |

Ha--years ago my shooting group talked about using inflatable animals to enhance our photos. I animal would have been nice, but I wouldn't have wanted a person. Maybe I can try to add a Death Valley animal to this. |

I am not getting any more Nikons--too heavy for an old photographer:-). I haven't used any camera in ages and may have to relearn how to use my Olympus gear. That is why I am using old photos. We will miss you in the group. |

I also prefer the original, but think the figure is not necessary. You know I love stairways and enjoy playing with them. I find the monochrome confusing, but that may be my banged head! |

I like both images and can see why the original did well in competition. This shows it pays to look at "old" images to see what we can do to improve or change them. I have one image that was accepted as the original and 2 modifications. Playing is always fun. |

You always give us something to think about! This makes me want to find some water images to play with:-). I am not sure if this stands as well as some of your other experiments. It does make an interesting combination but I think it needs more to focus on. |

This certainly gets attention with the color! Good for you trying a different approach. I like this as a vertical and think it has better balance. Since this is not a nature image, you can repair any damage. |

Flying sand would probably help the image, but I like the leg that is out. I would like to see the face better. I don't know what time the photo was taken; perhaps a different time would produce better results. Of course, we have to shoot events when they happen! I made a different crop so the figure is not so centered. We never know how images will do in competition; there are often surprises. |
