Kathy, If you have NIK plugins, you can open shadows in Viveza which I think works better than enchance. Just MHO. |

Bob, Now you made me research since I never heard of this lens. I have always been a Nikon user, but they were late in the mirrorless game so I got an Olympus system before they became OM. At this stage I hesitate changing my gear since I am not using any of it much. I agree this is more of a background image, but like Karen's version. This group is a good way to practice new techniques or gear. |

Welcome to the group, Kathy--especially nice to have a fellow PSElements user in the group. I love your shot, but wonder if you got soaked in the process. I never heard of this event but used to spend time in the Bradenton/Sarasota visiting photo buddies. This does look like a lot of fun and digital makes it more economic. I shot slides for years and am glad to do digital now. The spray is great and makes the picture. |

Bob, You do love to play! I prefer Karen's color as yours is too saturated for me. You shot this at an angle, but I think it looks better straightened. Keep playing, |

Karen, I like this view of the gator and agree on cropping the image. I never thought about alligators being in SC. |

Bob, I almost always make a monochrome image when I process the color. As an OLD darkroom person, I love monochrome and use it a lot. |

I like this night shot with reflections which add a lot of interest. I wouldn't have recognized this as Vienna, but it could still go in photo travel. Although I like Tim's warm, I think that might not go as PT since nights are not always warm. Karen is right about straightening. |

Yes, phones do a better job in some situations. I wish I had had one when I did more traveling. |

Nice action shot, Tim. I like having the crowd in the background and thinks that makes a better PJ shot--adding the human element. I am not a PJ expert and got credit for published photos or I wouldn't have gotten to 5 stars. The angle of the cars is a plus as is the color. Well done.

I can probably correct the lights. I wanted the horns at an angle which meant shooting from where I did. |

We shall see. I think I will try it in street category that is a better fit than an open category. I'll let you knom. I do want to know how you like the photos apps. |

Karen,
I told Bob that this one was for you. I remembered you played the alphorn. I love the sound and I think I mentioned years ago that my daughter wanted to play one when she was very young! I have recordings with alphorn music. A college friend has relatives in Germany who are in an alphorn group. |

Dorinda, I love your shot and did a sepia version for you to see. I think it is better than the b & w version. I have to do more looking at other groups as time permits. |

Janice, I had to look after you said what group you were in. I like this shot a lot and the seller's expression is nice. However, posed shots are not permitting in photo travel, but this could be used in PID where there are people and street themes. It could also work as a monochrome in both categories. |

HI, It may be a touristy site, but a nice one. Your processing is nice, and the reflection adds interest. Sometimes it is hard to see none-tourist spots when traveling. |
