Thanks, Tim. I just re-read your bio. I used Nikon cameras for many years, but switched to mirrorless when Olympus came out. The new ones are better, but I can't see upgrading at this point. I need to sell my Nikon gear--after I try copying some slides! I appreciate your comment. Art is in the eye of the beholder as has been said. Playing is fun and sometimes rewarding. |

Bob, I didn't take it personally! I think it is hard to tell when AI is used with all the new software. I do like things like Gigapixel to enlarge photos taken with older cameras. I am not even clear what "filters" are permitted in exhibitions. It is so much fun to see what effects we can get with one image. |

Elaine, I rarely took a tripod on my trips except for photo trips. It is a challenge to take photos on a tour but I managed to get some decent shots. I recently judged an exhibition and there was a great night shot of the parliament. Some images are seen so often they lose impact. BTW, you are NOT old!
My father grew up in Kansas City so I have seen parts of MO and am learned where some of my ancestors lived there. |

Thanks, Elaine. It gives me something to do while wandering in antique malls and so far, I haven't been stopped. |

Bob,
Thanks for submitting while you are recovering. How nice you have flowers on your dining tables! I like Karen's crop but would also remove the bright reflection in the bottom left. Color is great and the arrangement is well done. I have used my phone in restaurants for flowers and other appealing subjects. |

Bob, I prefer both originals to your composite. I can see the reflection as a subject for your swirls. I think it is too busy. I cropped the bottom and did a quick cloning to remove the branches. |

Karen, The background is nice as the buck shows up well. I do see white fringing which I often get and never quite figure out how it happened. I would like to see more light in the eyes. You certainly get some great animal shots in the park. |

Elaine, I like your night shot. I haven't seen this view as much as I have of the parliament building on the river. The light is nice and you have a good exposure. I do wonder if you used a tripod. If you enter PSA exhibitions, this would do well in travel. |

This is a nice street shot and could do well as it is in PJ. The background doesn't bother me since you took what you saw. The expressions are great, and the photo tells a story.
There are street categories in exhibitions and it would probably do better there than in an open category. |

Bob,
I think AI is different from what I do since I start with a photo taken with a camera. I use different apps to make my "creations", which probably means I don't have total control but I make several versions and choose colors and designs I like. My generation is older than yours:-)! |

Karen,
You are right that this would not be identified as a photographic image. I had one DQd because it didn't look like a camera was used. Many of my altered images show recognizable features and have done well in exhibitions. This was just having fun. |
