Thanks, Elaine. I like your corrections. Sometimes we are forced to look differently. One of these days, I'll have to go through Jefferson City and see the MO capitol. |

I guess I should look them up too! I enjoy seeing state capitols and some are better than others. I have not even been to the MD statehouse. I just found this "The beautiful Maryland State House is the oldest state capitol in continuous legislative use and is the only state house ever to have served as the nation's capitol." I know Brookville, MD was the US capital for a few days in 1812, but never knew this about Annapolis. |

Ha! Bob, over the years my club has had themes of different point of view and a recent exhibition had one of looking down--that is a view from above. It does pay to look in all directions and try to get different views. |

Thanks, Gunter. I'll have to take another look at it. This group has certainly helped me improve my photography. |

Very nice catch and yes, good to take at a distance. He does look like he is disturbed. You have a nice angle of his head and great detail in his hair and beard. It works well in monochrome. I agree about darkenibg the brightest areas.

Bob, I see you are back to swirls! I had to look at Topaz Studio to learn where you found swirls. So, now I need to know how you select the flowers so there aren't part of the swirl. Ah, so much to learn; it never ends. I like both versions, but favor the original 2 a bit since it goes to the right, the way we read. Color is great as is the motion. Well done. |

You certainly captured a nice mood. I agree that the truck adds a nice focal point and makes the image better than it would be without it. It is hard, at least for me, the capture a mood like this and you handled it well. |

You, as a musician, would see this as a conductor! I love the position of the goose and it is well placed in the frame. I darkened the grass at the top to draw less attention to it. I think the image is better with the grass at the top. I also did a litle burning of the brightest area of the water. Not a great job, but you could do it better.
You are lucky to be so close to RMNP. |

Very nice image. I like having the 2 "sets" of waterfalls. The lower one is dominant, but made me look back to the other one. Waterfalls are hard and there are so many of them around the country. I understand your not wanting to climb too much. I don't go places I used to! The 2 falls complement one another and I think make a better image than just one. Well done. I am sure it will make a nice print. |

I also love this one! Composition is right one with the center cow posed beautifully with a mouth full of hay. I like that all the eyes are showing and all is sharp. The only nitpick I have is the same as Bob's--darken the lower right corner. Well done. |
