One thing to remember is that once you set the keystone compensation, you can't change anything else. I always forget that and have to turn it off and set everything else and turn it back on. I still haven't learned all I should about the Olympus I have. Good luck. |

Karen, Kaleidoscopes are not just for kids! I have a camera attachment that turns any image into a kaleidoscope. I actually have several artist made kaleidoscopes that are amazing. A nearby gallery has had 2 exhibitions of kaleidoscopes of all kinds. |

I like your correction, Gunter. That is why I love this group--you all help me improve my images. I will have to go back fo all my versions of this and see how the other colors look with more contrast/saturation. |

Bob, I do help with navigation and we have found that Apple maps sometimes does a better job than our built-in navigation system which can't be used when the car is in motion. I also search for places to see, eat and sleep! There isn't a lot to see on Interstates. Quite a few PSA members are using phones these days and get amazing results. |

There is a lot to see in your image. The distortion overwhelms me. I suggest you check Nikon NX Capture or studio since you used a Nikon. I used it for fish eye images when I was using Nikon gear. It did a great job of correction. I tried Perspective Efex and didn't like the results. I straightened it in Elements and cropped a bit. Olympus has a setting for keystone compensation which I try to remember to use for such images. It is a big help. |

Great color and I never would have guessed what the original was. You got a nice effect with the remix. I have a problem with that and like the amount you came up with. I agree with Gunter--a vertical might be better. |

Nice composite. The colors in the landscape are very nice and the eagle adds a nice touch. However, the light on the bird does not match the landscape. Perhaps you could tone down the light on the bird and move it as Karen suggested. |

The color and reflection are wonderful. I agree the sky could be cropped. I cropped it and removed the wires on the left side. This is probably the first time I have suggested a change in one of your images in more than 10 years we have been in the group! Somehow, the bottom got cropped so that the lower shadows were distracting so I cloned them out. |

The major plus is that you cloned out the other flowers. I agree about cloning the flawed parts as Tim mentioned. I feel the background doesn't do the image justice. I quickly changed it to black. See what you think. I don't do focus stacking but imagine that would help. |

The grit adds to the atmosphere and the story. I think it works well as a monochrome. I would try it as is for PJ and with changes in PID-M. Well done. |

PJ judges are not to judge on technical aspects. It is more the "story" with them. Of course, it all depends on the qualifications of the judges:-). |
