29 Jun 23 Reply Karen, Good idea to brighten it up. It was a dull day. I am always thinking of reality based rules like Photo Travel has so I forget to make such changes. Now I am starting to make 2 versions of images so I have a choice for PID or PT. Jun 11th
29 Jun 23 Comment Great mood in your image, but I agree about the moon. I have no idea how to correct it, but like Karen's version a lot. I sometimes get such weird effects and never know how to deal with them or know what causes them. We can all learn by experimenting. Jun 11th
29 Jun 23 Comment Bob, you never disappoint with your creativity. Your original seems to invite viewers to play too. I used the twirl filter in Elements and came up with another version. I will have to try this with some of my images. Playing with images adds fun to processing. Of course, you are way ahead of me with your skills. Jun 11th

29 Jun 23 Comment I love your idea of making a composite and there are lots of possibilities with filters and software. I like the antique effect your image has. I have been missing the Topaz old Restyle and think it is easier and better than the replacement. I finally got it connected to Elements and then Topaz studio disappeared:-(. The nature choices were quite interesting and I just selected one as an idea.

In any case, I like what you did. Keep experimenting.		 Jun 11th
29 Jun 23 Comment Fantastic shot! The background is great and the crane really stands out well. I have never seen one either, but this makes me want to. It is tack sharp and the color is lovely. I'll have to check out that location for future reference. Jun 11th
29 Jun 23 Comment Great color to contrast with the bee. Macro is a challenge and a long macro lens is an asset. You didn't say if you used a tripod or not; sometimes it is easier to get the angle you want if you hand hold and use a higher ISO. I agree with the others about cropping closer so there is more emphasis on the bee and flower. Learning is an ongoing process.

I'll be in Denver the week of June 26 and would love to meet you. My husband has a convention and I don't stay at it all the time.		 Jun 11th
29 Jun 23 Comment Great action shot with good exposure. Glad to hear the drive was not hurt. This would do well in PJ as is. You could make changes for PID. The car is well placed in the frame and its color adds a lot.

Our son sent us a video that showed a car flipped over on an Interstate in CA and no one was hurt.		 Jun 11th
