29 Jan 23 Comment I also like this owl. Well done, especially considering the circumstances. Great expression really tells a story. Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Comment Bob,

Great color and shot of the butterfly. They are always a challenge to get totally sharp. I don't mind the extra color and instead of cropping it, I blurred the background more--rather quickly so it is not perfect, but just to give you the idea.

29 Jan 23 Comment A lovely image. The shape of the pond really makes the image and I can see why you stopped. The reflections add interest too. I can't see they pylon--I really need to get my eyes checked! I use computer glasses and am not sure how much they help, but my glasses are progressive and that makes for neck strain. Aging is so much fun---NOT! Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Comment Karen, What a great shot! Who would not love this image and the deer? I really like the cropping and the eyes are fabulous and that is what really needs to be tack sharp. My eyes go to the eyes and the nose doesn't bother me much. Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Reply Their fur is rather fuzzy--I have a sticker that says "Do not pet the fluffy cows" with a photo of a bison. The fur is very thick and sometimes rather shaggy depending on the season. They don't look very good in summer. Thanks for your comment. Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Reply Bob, you are right about tripods, but I am a bit lazy and it is not always easy to get it set up in this kind of setting. Those animals move fast and one has to be mindful. They are so dark and thus hard enough to photograph. Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Comment This is quite a catch and you were fortunate to have such a guide. Even though it is centered, that doesn't bother me too much. I kind of wish the white grass area wasn't there, but with nature, we can't always get everything the way we would like. Well done. Jan 15th
29 Jan 23 Reply I was just going to suggest that as well as Topaz Sharpen AI. I am not a great processor, but find both programs very helpful. Jan 15th
