I am a fan of IR and have had 3 cameras converted including a Nikon D100, Olympus EP and EM5. I need to unload 2 of them. I tend to use them only for monochrome. I don't like some of the really weird colors I have seen. This image does not have wild color. Although I like the sky, I would not use a stock image especially since that is not permitted in my club or in PSA. |

Beautiful color and effects. I have mixed feelings about the leaf in front. I agree that the green on the left and right sides is too bright.
BTW, I think I need you to teach me more about Topaz:-) |

I love this image! Minimalist for sure, but that adds to the impact. Well done. It is something I'd like to try. |

Karen, You have another winner! This is a beautiful image and the flowers really add a lot with the lovely color. I've been there just once on a rail trip and the lake was frozen in May. |

Tim, I like your version, but can't figure out why your sky looks so different. |

Karen,
I agree the sky could be a bit darker, but think maybe yours is a bit overdone. I didn't want to cut the cannon balls, but think it looks fine in your version. |

I should have said I cropped on the right side to eliminate a sign. I think I should have left it in for a better composition. I know I could remove it, but I tend to think of travel where that is not permitted. |

This is a nice nature image and I love that the moose is looking out and the vegetation in her mouth adds interest. I like Karen's crop as it puts more emphasis on the face.
If I remember, you will be at the PSA Festival; if you are there, I hope we can meet.

Tim, that sounds like a fun trip to an interesting place. I agree with Karen that there is too much in the picture and I like her crop. I love the feel of the image--nice and warm and cozy.
We are traveling and heard about Queen Elizabeth's passing and feel the loss here too. My husband saw her at a University of MD football game years ago!
