29 Jul 22 Reply There are so many options when "playing" that it is a challenge to select the best. It can be a challenge to me to work on the details without overdoing it or making a total mess of it. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Reply Thanks, Tim. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Reply You are right I should be more organized, but I did so many versions of the various shots of the stairs in the hotel, it was hard to keep them all straight. I process on my iPad and try to keep the original with the experiments together, but they don't stay together all the time. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment A beautiful spot for sure. I agree that there is a lot to see in the image and the foreground does compete with the waves and sky. I like Gunter's edit. You make me want to force myself to use slower shutter speeds; too often, I shoot without a tripod! Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment Bob,

I like both your version and Gunter's. Some images can have multiple versions and they all work. You make me want to spend time learning Topaz. Keep up the experimenting.

29 Jul 22 Reply Karen, I do like the variety in the group and I am not ready for a creative group because of time and knowledge! I am learning about new techniques. I also learn from your wonderful nature images--my weak point. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment Great image! I must look into MirrorLab. The colors work well and the lines and reflections really make it all come together. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment A colorful image! I have no suggestions other than those already made. I would have preferred the cyclists were entering the scene rather than leaving the scene, but that might not have been an available choice. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment Good seeing. The texture of the log is a drawing point. You had difficult lighting challenge. A different time of day might have helped. Obviously, you need light on the detail and center of the log. Karen's version is very nice. I tried, but didn't do that well:-) Adding a better sky is a good idea. The image has a lot of possibilities. Jul 14th
29 Jul 22 Comment Street photography can be a challenge since we often have to shoot quickly. If an image like this is used in PJ, you cannot remove anything since the scene has to be as you saw it. I think grabbing the shot a bit earlier, we could have seen more of the painted face. The color is great and catches our attention. I agree that the trash can adds to the atmosphere. Jul 14th
