29 Jun 22 Reply Thanks for your input. I may now try it in an exhibition. It might even work in travel! Jun 17th
29 Jun 22 Reply Thanks. There is always junk in such places and that is part of their charm. I also look for details that are interesting. Jun 17th
29 Jun 22 Reply I see a line by the roof on the left which exaggerates what is already there. Since I am always thinking of travel when we have to present as we see a scene. I do have to think outside that box:-) Jun 17th
29 Jun 22 Comment The colors are lovely, but DOF is a problem as others have said. That can be a challenge with subjects like this because of their depth. I cropped it from the bottom and selected (not well!) the plant and then used gaussian blur on the background. I think it is good to bracket aperture on such subjects. Jun 17th
29 Jun 22 Comment Another nice creative image which offers lots of possibilities. This makes me want to look at Topaz more and learn how to use more of its features.

I like all the versions and think this is an image that can be done in many ways. Some don't like anything like this, but I do and appreciate the effort that goes into making such an image. Well done!

29 Jun 22 Comment Gunter, I also LOVE this image! I have Topaz, but don't see this plugin--maybe it is not part of Topaz. I would like to know more about it.

Your creativity is an inspiration. I think this image works very well as a monochrome. You have a winner.

29 Jun 22 Reply Karen, I also love your image and would like to know how you did it. Jun 17th
29 Jun 22 Comment You have another winner. I love the title and the image. I like the way the eye peeks out over the grass. I don't have a problem with the spacing. It is a great head shot. I darkened the grass at the top.

You are fortunate to live so close to RMNP. I have been there but was never there long enough to get pictures like yours.

29 Jun 22 Comment Madeline, welcome to our group! Lucky you to live in Colorado. I hope you will attend the PSA Festival in Colorado Springs in September. If you do, let me know so we can meet in person.

I like Karen's version very much and agree about the background. I tried selecting the rose and blurring the background and cropping it. It is not well done, but will give you an idea. The color is wonderful.

29 Jun 22 Comment The first thing I noticed was the expanse of sky. I agree that it is too much and like Karen's version. I like the expression on the man's face. I don't think this stands alone, but encourage you to do a PJ essay using a group of images from the event. You can see details on the PSA website under the PJ Division. Jun 17th
