Gunter, thanks for your suggestions. I hate to confess I haven't learned the radiant gradient yet--more to learn. |

Bob, I agree about cropping the doors. That is what I like about this group--worthwhile constructive comments. I didn't notice the water spots! I could clean it up for PID, but not PT. I have done that on several images. Thanks. |

I also love lighthouses as do so many photographers. I have never done HDR and can't with Elements. Too little time to learn more programs:-(. I do like the smoothing of the water and have mixed feelings about to crop or not to crop. I like if both ways. I always think of PT rules and would not reverse it. I think that is especially true of such iconic spots. |

Great image. I have been to Chincoteague many times, but have never managed to see a moon rise. The clouds really make it special. I agree that adding space on the right is an improvement.
BTW, I thought I saw you had a gallery in the MAC website, but I don't see it now. Do put one in!

Very interesting image. I appreciate the details you provided. I looked Mirror Lab up and it appears it may be available for PCs and maybe iOS. I'll have to research more. Some of the programs I use, are only available on my iPad so I transfer images from my PC to the iPad. There is so much available now and it adds fun to our photography.
I bet you had the most creative image in your club. |

Karen, I think I have seen this before because it looks so familiar. I have trouble remembering what I have used since I have been in the group for ages as you have. I like it very much. The lighting is beautiful and the ducks are in the perfect spot. You always manage to get images at the right time! Well done. |

This is a very appealing image with lots to look at. The water leads us into the image. You mention it as a nature image, but because of the stone (man-made) arch, it would not qualify in a PSA Nature Exhibition. FYI, the reality based Divisions--PJ, Nature and Photo Travel images must meet the definitions. Sorry--but I am very involved in the PTD and we are constantly aware of the definition! |

I appreciate your explanation. Otherwise, I would have not know what it was about. I am not sure it stands by itself, but could work as part of a photo essay about the event. I didn't notice the had at first, but now agree with the others that it is distracting. |
