This reminds me of a time eons ago, I wondered why everything looked so small when I had a macro lens on--but it was a 24mm wide angle. This gave me a chance to experiment with Gigapixel. I just got it recently and am amazed at what it can do to enlarge and sharpen images.
I like the color and composition, but think a macro lens would have done better. I like your idea of picking the first lens you grab. I have read suggestions about just using one lens on a day outing and that is probably worth trying, but I am spoiled with zoom lenses. |

Excellent. The shy and fog add much to the picture and the way the fog leads us through the image is a big plus. I agree with the other comments. |

I love this and didn't notice the missing hoof. The splashes do improve the image and I think it would do well in a creative category. The color is great as is the composition. |

Well done and the simplicity works well. I'd be tempted to put an object in the moon--a face or something fun--maybe green cheese? |

You should have seen it before I did some burning! I know I would make a mess if I tried too much cloning. |

This is a good place to show our experiments. I have gotten good ideas from you, but haven't managed to try them yet:-(, |

This is certainly an eye-grabber and should do well in PJ where less attention is paid to technical details than in PID. While the crop is tight and it is not as sharp as it could have been, I think it is a worthwhile shot. Grab shots have challenges and you did well with what you had. |
