Bill, I am always thinking travel so I don;t flip! I am not sure what the rules are about using an image in one division and changing it for another. More research:-(. |

I shot it low on the beach so I could avoid distractions. When we go back, I'll have to try it again. I had read about it in a photo guide for CA. |

I like your crop. I'll have to check my records to see if I have any acceptances for it. My records are a mess and I have to get them all sorted and know what is retired. |

I love the view! It would work as a travel image pretty well--depending on the exhibition:-). Wide angles often are not good for landscapes unless you have an interesting foreground. I usually tend to shoot details, but like overall views of the places I visit. I like Karen's sky. I tweaked it a bit for more contrast. |

As someone who is active in the PTD, the treatment bothers me.I do like it as a monochrome. I tweaked the original a bit and I think it would be a good travel image. |

This is a nice image of a colorful bird. I agree with the others about cutting the legs off. It is also a bit too close to the top. I like Bob's version since it concentrates on the important part. |

You handled a tough shot well. It almost looks as if she is standing on her head! The important parts are sharp. I like the version with her face showing, but seeing anyone upside down makes everything look unusual. Well done. |

Beautiful night shot with great reflections. I also suggest cropping on the left as the brightest area there draws the viewer away from the rest of the image. I do like the pano format. |

Nice shot and I didn't even try it! It would be fun to put a face in the opening for a creative theme. The color and detail are great. It works well in color and monochrome. |
