Great catch! It is very sharp as it should be and the eyes have a nice catch light. Owls are hard to see and catch and you did very well. This is especially good considering it is handheld. Well done. |

Great color and simplicity. The background is well done, but I cropped a bit off the top and left side to focus more on the flower. The DOF is well done. |

This makes a great pano and the clouds and boats make a nice line. I cropped the last one on the right and cloned a few area to make for a simpler image. The colors are wonderful as is the exposure. |

Interesting technique, but it looks like a newspaper print. I agree with Bob, that not seeing the eyes is a negative. I love the color version, but would change the background as you did. I like that you continue to experiment and learn new techniques. I should do more of that! |

Ha, I didn't even notice the label! Good idea. I guess I could do that and submit it as "the same" image. The camera was an impulse purchase and has limits like no raw (the new model has raw, but loses some other things according the the Oly. rep at the conference last year.) The color was what attracted me and I once did a lot of sewing so the machine caught my eye. I'm not sure what bloom is; can you educate me? |

Great shot. I would love to have known about the building. The color and exposure are tops and the lines make for a nice composition. I don't know the crop factor, but assume it is 2X.Well done. |
