29 Oct 18 Comment Lovely setting and model. I( agree that the image needs more room on the right. I love the reflection. Color and lighting are very nice. Oct 15th

29 Oct 18 Comment Thanks for recommending the ranch. We went back and i found some good junk to photograph! This is a fun picture with many options for processing. I had to play with it and now will look at my ranch shots with a new eye--they are still in the camera. I think as it is, it needs to be darkened and have more contrast. It also makes a nice monochrome. I used Topaz adjust and came up with one similar to Karen's. I guess I will have to add the edits one at a time. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Comment Well, quite a discussion about cropping and framing. I like the background since it shows place and adds interest. I agree with Bill about the concrete being distracting. I quickly cloned it out so more water would show. I like the angle and the nice diagonal the waters forms. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Comment Great pose. I assume you could not get any closer to the critter. I lightened the lizard and darkened the background some and cropped it to put more emphasis on the lizard. They are hard to shoot and a longer lens would have helped, but who carries the monsters around? Obviously, the way I processed it would not be accepted in nature if I understand the limitations, but would go in open. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Comment Black and white is a very good choice for this. It really stands out as monochrome. I agree on the horizontal object since it detracts from the dancers. Also, it would be better to not have the arm blocking the face. You do so well with these type of images. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Comment beautiful! The face and especially the eyes are nice and sharp and the background is out of focus enough to put more emphasis on the animal. The ears are bigger than I would expect. How lucky to spend 3 weeks in the park as it provides more opportunities. We've been through it, but never have spent much time there. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Reply Thanks, Jim. I finally got busy on paper work and am almost caught up except for PJ. I never intended to compete, but was talked into it and am kind of hooked. I don't compete in my club anymore so this gives me an outlet. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Reply Thanks,Karen. The swirl is one of the many images from the original, but one of my favorites. I am learning what subjects work with the phone camera I used and the apps that I like to use. I toss many of them. Oct 15th
29 Oct 18 Reply The original was just to show what i started with. The original is not something I would use as is. I took it to play with it! Oct 15th
