29 Mar 18 Comment NM is National Monument and I was too lazy to write it out. I think I will try it with a different sky as Karen did. I am working on learning how to do that. I will also try it as a monochrome since I need new titles in PID-M. I have benefited in competition with comments from this group so thanks for the help! Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment You used a camera but processed it on a phone? I have done that with cameras that connect via Wi-Fi with my iPad. I can do more with some phone apps that I can on the computer. The darkness of the structure bothers me a bit so I lightened it a bit and quickly so the edges show. The building looks like it is leaning, but the horizon is straight. I like the placement of the tree. I cropped a bit off the bottom. Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment You have really been hit with a bad winter. A friend posted pictures of the Cape and a lot of buildings went down. Glass is a challenge and this inspires me to try it again. I did some years ago for my club when the assignment was glass.I found it best to have a solid black background for clear glass. I removed the spots in the background as they were distracting. I thought the stem at the bottom was a reflection:-). Glass naturally has reflections and needs at least some. I love what Karen did with it. Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment You do a very good job with this type of picture and must go to a lot of shows to see the dancers. The light spots on the left are distracting to me so I cropped them out and took a bit off the bottom to eliminate the blue line. Well done. Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment I vaguely remember seeing blow holes in HI, but we were there twice eons ago and doubt we'll go back. It is far from the east coast! The angle of the spray is very nice and making it a vertical improves it from a horizontal. I agree about the rocks and didn't do as good a job as the others (poorer processing skills!) I am sure you took many images of this since it is such a sigh to see. Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment Nicely done and the angle works well as does her position. The bright areas are a bit too bright IMHO. Monochrome fits the image very well. Mar 17th
29 Mar 18 Comment This is a nice character portrait and even though he wasn't working, the background is interesting and ties into what he represents. The light on his face is great, but I would like to see a tiny bit of the background since it is so dark. I lightened that a bit--the only way I know how (selecting and lightening). This couldn't go in PJ or PT since it is a kind of set up, but I think it could do well in PID especially if there is a theme of people or work. Well done with the conditions. Mar 17th
