Hi Kamal - The story makes this image all the more interesting. The Praying Mantis is sharp and well captured. To my eye, I find the texture and vibrant green of the background leaf, created by cropping, to be a bit disorienting - not so much in the original. I am unsure of a remedy to suggest unless it would help to smooth the texture some. What an adventure she had - I'm sure she was thrilled at your kindness and to find herself resting in more flowers after the flight. Best ~ |

Hi Tom - Rising way too early seems an okay trade off since you've gotten some pretty remarkable images that way. This one is no exception. I am drawn to the beautiful layers and colors of the sky and in your processing creating the misty water. The man-made materials add an unique dimension as well although I would prefer that that feature wasn't cutting through the middle of the image. Perhaps removing some of that sandy beach from the bottom creating a 2:1 ratio in a more panoramic profile is a possible resolution. It's a lovely image - nice work! |

Hi Karen - Congratulations on your new venture! I like that your poster isn't heavy with information as many car posters can be and you're highlighting the photography. I might go a bit lighter on the stokes. The colors work well and I also like that the backgrounds are natural but uncluttered. That said, you're at the whim of a customer so it all depends on what their expectations are. It's great you're having fun and challenging yourself with classic cars! |

Hi Greg - The perfect image for use of the Texture Blending software. The horse and cowboy are well grounded, the colors chosen for the background compliment the focal point well and the heavier vignette works to highlight the main subject. The suggestion for a little more headroom offered by Tom Buckard is worth consideration too. Well done! |

Hi Jackie - WOW - that sky!! I too, agree with Greg's suggestion. One caution - I would be careful not to put too much light on that bush, especially on the viewer's side as the light is coming from the opposite direction. Another suggestion might be to crop from the bottom, enough to make the focus all about that gorgeous, dramatic sky. |

Hi Tom - Thanks for the insight. As much as I looked at this image, it never registered that I had a bright white "blob" in the image. |
