Hi Kamal - Thanks for providing some perspective reminding me that an abstract is really defined by the viewer. |

Hi Kamal - I do like that this guy has a bit more breathing room. Thanks for trying out the suggestions to the composition! |

Hi Karen - An interesting idea to create a new look for a stroke . . . I'll have to give it a try. Nice idea about creating a focal point too! Thanks for the ideas! |

Hi Stephen - Jumble photos, it's the first I've heard that term. I do like them and will not be so shy to try this type of close-up again. Thanks for visiting Group 14 and sharing your thoughts. Much appreciated! |

Hi Greg - Aah, but that horizon isn't dead center :) This has a strong story that comes through in the silhouettes. I like that you removed the man in the image. I wish some of the details from the original (horizon down) had made it to the final . . . although perhaps that wonderful feeling of being part of this image - that impact or sense that I'm there, might be lost. Your treatment of the sky is awesome! |

Hi Karen - How young he was to live through such a deadly experience! I can't even imagine what he must have felt as he laid that rose at the memorial. What a touching moment. I appreciate your support of your local veterans and your contribution to making moments like this happen. Well captured! |

Hi Ingrid - Interesting building . . . made even more so by your description. Your efforts in post really enhance the image. I've replaced a sky, but haven't tried to overlay the sky into a foreground like water. Very effective! I like Greg's high contrast B&W too. Bringing the horizon down a touch was helpful. I can understand not wanting to lose the reflection though (which Greg didn't - much). Changing the aspect ratio and offsetting the building a bit would work nicely I should think - several good options. |

Hi Tom - What a unique capture! I haven't heard of a 'flare drop' before. It seems an impressive display. I agree with Greg regarding the blue sky being a great backdrop for the flares. The upward trajectory of the flares draws my eye nicely up and through the image. That and the lighting at the top brings focus to the aircraft. A lovely image! |

Hi Kamal - What a grand pose you've caught with this lizard! The unique camera angle was a nice choice. The change of aspect ratio is helpful too, although I do believe your lizard needs a bit more room on top and in front . . . and perhaps a little less on the back end. The diagonal lines created by your lizard's perch and the lizard itself are a nice contribution to the composition. |

Hi Greg - Thanks for the suggestions. I particularly like the impact of the Multiply Blend Mode and the use of radial gradients. I like the depth you've brought to the image too. |
