Hi Karen - If I'm ever challenged to produce an industrial image, I'm ready :) Thanks for your kind thoughts. |

Hi Ingrid - I like how you think . . . if you look closely, some have quite expressive 'faces' too! On a more serious note, darkening the sky a bit would improve the contrast. Thank you for the suggestion! |

Hi Erin - It was fun and so different from what I am usually drawn to . . . I'm blaming the natural light that day - what else could make a bunch of bucket trucks so appealing? That's my story and I'm sticking with it! I like your creative spin -Thanks! |

Hi Ingrid - What a magnificent creature you've captured and you didn't even have to leave your house! The environment surrounding the bird enhances the appeal providing the viewer an image with impact. Its not often you see an image with so much detail in the background but with little to distract. That colorful beak and the nice highlight in the eye draws the viewer. The vignette is a nice touch too. Go ahead and make the print - its a keeper! |

Hi Karen - What a beautiful B&W architectural image. Good work in post. The composition and crop make the image. The lack of texture creates a softness that is appealing and is replicated in the lighthouse glass and clouds as well. Nicely done! |

Hi Greg - Your triptych is a rich color forward image that is well balanced and nicely arranged. Depending on what you're going to use the image for, cutting off the head dresses may/may not be an issue. As an artistic choice, I like that both the right and left head dresses are treated equally. My suggestion would be to equally darken the background of the center and left image to match the right to bring to the forefront the main subject in each triptych, create balance, and eliminate any distractions. Nicely done! |

Hi Tom - Living most of my life in a land-locked state, I don't believe I've seen an Auger Shell before. I also don't know what a multiplier is (nor have a seen such a device; assumes it helps create the multitudes of images utilized) so have a lot to learn about the process as you've explained it. That said, the results are beautiful. The lighting works and the image stacking has produced the tack-sharp quality that shows off the shell's texture nicely. Questions - what am I looking at just inside the opening of the shell? How do you know how many images will work best? Thanks - |

Hi Erin - The switch to B&W softened the image nicely. I agree with others comments, in particular the suggestion to up the contrast. A vignette might help highlight that center as well. I like the 1:1 aspect ratio as well. Thanks for sharing - |

Hi Kamal - This image ticks all the marks for what I look for in an abstract. One suggestion would be to keep the 3:2 aspect ratio but crop out a portion of the ocean. Overall the image is lovely and a great addition to your aerial fishing series . . . you've pulled together quite the collection! |
