Hi Ingrid - I think the cropping on the left is a good idea. Riding a zipline is quite fun - not sure why we didn't give it a go this time around. Thanks for sharing your observations. |

The changes you've made - cloning the sand in the foreground and in converting to a panorama - both made a big difference. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Kamal - What a beautiful silhouette and a lovely story you've captured! The image has impact and the simplicity of the composition focuses all attention toward the center of interest. In a perfect world, the foreground sand might be wind-swept and some form of that could possibly be achieved in post. I'm not sure it would be worth the effort though . . . Making that kind of change may even detract from the story. I believe 'as is' is well done! |

Hi Erin - The sunburst through the fall leaves and the brilliant fall color contrasting the trees beyond those that are just past their fall color prime make for an interesting image. Nicely done! |

Hi Tom - I, too, like the image you submitted over the original layout. You put in a lot of work into post with awesome results and I think that enlarging the main structure worked quite well. I have seen canola fields in person and you could probably even get by with increasing the saturation a bit more give those fields can be quite brilliant. That said, I like warmth of your version. A really lovely capture. Well done! |

Hi Greg - You did a great job of 'keeping it simple'. I agree with both Karen's and Tom's observations. Nice choices in post and overall - nicely done! |

Hi Karen - I do love those clouds! The clouds are what draws me to this image along with the texture of grass hill and the minimalism in this landscape. For my eye, the composition is a bit off though - The tree is a bit too close to the right edge of the image and the horses are a touch too far over the hill so their bowed heads are somewhat obscured. The image is a nice capture of the minimalism you sought in this panorama view. Thanks for sharing. |

Hi Ingrid - Dahlias are such beautiful flowers. How fun it must have been to have a new batch arrive each week! I too like the hombre effect. You have certainly filled the frame with your dahlia, I'm wondering if you can take it just a bit further and crop some of the background out so its not a distraction for you. If it were mine I would also flip the bloom so it points upward rather than down - a personal preference I suppose. I've attached your image updated with my suggestions for your consideration. |

Thanks for your input Greg - The sand you mention I believe is remnants of snow. I can see how that and the road in the upper right might be a distraction. I'm not sure I see the image improving as a B&W . . . hmmm, I'll give it a go though. |

Two votes for cropping off some on the left side - an easy fix. Thanks Erin |
