14 Feb 20 Comment I love this shot. I particularly like the the feathers and wing spread as well as the clearly focused eagle's eye which is highly coveted by nature photographers. The way the back wing blends into the dark of the background adds depth but that may be my fine arts background talking. The lighting is there but could be better developed especially around the head and tail feathers. The sharpness is probably as good as your going to get it under the conditions that you shoot. Overall, a splendid capture. Feb 22nd
14 Feb 20 Comment A good solid image that is technically correct. The focus is clearly on the model and the contrast between her and the cold, hard surroundings clearly offset. I am mixed about whether Fragile really captures that emotion - to me maybe Defeated or Overwhelmed seems more appropriate. An interesting composition! Feb 22nd
14 Feb 20 Comment Finding Lunch tells a great story of this bear family 'on the move'. Because of the front bear's head looking your way and the paw placement on the fallen log, I suspect you have a great photograph just with the one bear. What a great opportunity to shoot wildlife and I am envious of your ability to hand hold a 600mm lens and get a shot worth sharing! Feb 22nd
14 Feb 20 Comment Another in a nice series of night landscape photographs of Budapest! The image is tack sharp and it is the impact of the lighting that draws my interest. Cropping a bit of the water and flipping the photograph so that the bridge runs up from left to right are good suggestions - your choices work well too though. I'm also okay with the level of blue. 14 Feb 20 Comment Your Weathered Window is an uncluttered, balanced photograph with a pleasant composition. I agree with your decision to leave the window reflection as is. The curtains add good contrast and interest. I feel that more contrast would take your photograph to the next level - perhaps by adding a vignette as previously suggested. Thanks for sharing!
