Smartphones are producing such great photographs these days! It's unbelievable how sharp the image is given it was taken in a moving helicopter with a hand-held mobile phone. I love the subject matter, the composition, the leading lines and the story. Well done! |

A wonderful close-up brought to full attention by blurring the background. You are right - the color is beautiful. |

Thanks for the lesson in infrared photography. I like the reflection in the water and agree with that the photo lacks contrast. Points for trying the technique though! |

I love the sharpness you achieved in this stop-action shot and your emphasis on the primary focal points. I also enjoy the facial expressions on both rider and spectator that tell a good story. I wish your camera angle would have been just a little to either the right or the left so that the spectator would not seem to be on top of the rider and bull. I might have cropped the original from the top creating a long landscape photo, but the story would have been different. |

It is so rare that I can take a photograph without even minor cropping. If it were mine I would have been tempted to slice off a little on the right side - maybe between the two tallest trees. The texture of the photo seems grainy - perhaps sharpened a bit more than necessary? I like the color and S curve of the fence taking me into the back of the photo and then both the line of the birds and the line of the forested area bringing me back. Very nice! |

Beautiful country! Beautiful capture! I love the clouds and big sky but might have cropped a bit off the top to keep the focus on the rest of the landscape. Your post processing certainly works. |

Thanks for giving me the benefit of the doubt on the focus Bill! Interesting that as mentioned above, I was more worried about the strip of light at the bottom, so much so that I didn't recognize the yellowish leaf spots as a distraction. I appreciate your bringing that to my attention. That's something I can work on. |

Arun, I agree with you and Bill about the sharpness of the upper body. I wish the right antenna had been raised a bit as well. I'm glad you liked it otherwise. Thanks. |

I debated a bit with the cropping because of the strip of light at the bottom. No one else (so far) has appeared concerned about that, so that's good. I appreciate the positive comments. |
