Great image Gary. I really like the B&W and agree that it adds some impact to the image. I like your composition a lot with the tree helping to frame the comment. |

When I went to Africa I took a bunch of shots of elephants, both in the water and on dry land. I think that you have a great job of capturing what it is really like seeing these beautiful beasts in their natural setting. Great job! |

I like this image a lot. The mood that it creates is almost mystical. I think that you did a very nice job in post and, as others have stated, the ray of light adds a lot to the image.

Charles, no apology is necessary. I just wanted to make sure that you knew that this was not an iPhone image, although in the past I have submitted shots that I took with an iPhone. Thanks for your very nice comments about the image. |

Gear image Lou. This is an area that I planned to go to this year but had to cancel due to the pandemic. It's still on my list. I like your composition and DOF. To me the rock on the left is a bit bright. I might have reduced the exposure a little. The snow adds a lot to the image, especially in the background mixed with the green. |

This is similar to the image that I submitted last month so I really like it. Great composition and work with the shadows. You've done a good job of leading the viewer into the image. |

What great technique you used to end up with a beautiful and colorful image. I like the final result a lot. Very nice composition and I like the linear look. |

Gary, thanks for your comments. Luminar has a ton of functionality that is too numerous to list here. One of the functions that I use a lot is called AI Enhance. It can take an image and make about 80% or more of the adjustments. This gives me a good starting point for fine tuning the image. Luminar also supports the "Edit In" function in Lightroom so that you can start working on an image in LR, then perform some edits in Luminar and then copy those adjustments back into LR.
I recommend that you go to Skylum.Com to learn more about it. |
