Hi Cindy,
Your chimp certainly looks comfortable and relaxed! How interesting that he was so into interacting with his audience. You got a very nice portrait of him - sharp and catching him in a moment of composure. So many portraits of zoo animals make me feel sad, but this one doesn't evoke sadness. |

I haven't been to Morocco, but your abstract conveys a feeling that matches my imaginings of what walking through a souk would be like. |

Hi Steven,
How interesting to composite two copies of the same image! It looks like you played with the color of one of them. I've never used the feathering effect at the edges of a photo - I really like it. I know you said nothing is in focus, but my eyes keep wanting to see part of the background as in focus, but it isn't distracting, just my eyes seeing what they want to see. I wonder if lightening the color of the branches would add to the effect, which really does invoke Fall just as it is. |

Hi Chan,
What a sweet image! It really conveys the feeling of memory! I do wonder what it would look like if the chair were also to be in B&W, but perhaps that would spoil the sense of memory that your image conveys. Very well done. |
