Thanks for the great suggestions! I think I could do something with eyes and horns without violation Nature rules. Yes, they could have done a better job posing, but mostly I was busy telling them to ignore me and go about their business. If looks could kill I'd have been dead a couple of times! |

In the masking section of Lightroom there is an option for selecting eyes and other features (at least in people) or a brush can be used to isolate the eyes. Probably lots could be done in Photoshop, also, but I'd give Lightroom a go first. A great suggestion from Steven, and I will give it a try. |

Sounds like a fun trip! Such a peaceful looking place to have seen such violence all those years ago. I agree with Steven about the brightness in the corner and putting more light on the foreground wheel. Did you process in Lightroom? |

I love the color pallette, the dew drops and the soft background. I wonder if you could have gotten a greater depth of field and sharper focus if you shot from a somewhat greater distance, using the full 200 mm, or at least more than 73 mm, and perhaps f/8 instead of f/6.3. It would take a longer shutter speed, but at 1/640 sec., you had some leeway. |

You managed to rotate the camera very skillfully - you maintained a perfectly round field of pansies. I've never seen orange pansies before. It reminds me of the spinning wheels you sometimes find in children's playgrounds where the greater speed at the edge feels so fast! |

Great work with the color toning and cropping! You are developing some important skills in photoshop and it seems like you are having a lot of fun in to process. |

Good work with the lightning trigger! Mother nature didn't cooperate with me this year - no thunderstorms during my 5 days in the southwest. I love that you got both the skyline and the gravestones in your image. And your poem is very powerful! Great job all around. |
