Hi Cindy,
A very interesting image - the excellent focus shows so many details. Good noticing! |

Will, I love the perspective and I think the birds add a nice note of chaos in an otherwise symmetrical and geometric image. B&W works well, but I agree that making it brighter might add to the effect. |

Steven, I love pelicans and this action image of takeoff is excellent! I agree with Chan that flipping the image was a good idea. I did wonder if you extended the canvas of the image to give the bird more room in vront.B&W works well, but I also liked the color, especially the beak. Great sharpness and the water splashes really give a sense of motion and effort. |

Chan, excellent job of removing distractions and highlighting the pods! I do think the green color was a bit more natural looking in the original, but might not have noticed if I had not seen them together. Color intensity is something I struggle with in my own photography. |

Welcome, Chun!
I read your bio and was surprised you have been doing photography for such a short time! You have a great eye for composition and your image has a lot of impact. I like your black and white conversion and agree it's a good choice. |

Thanks Chan! My camera club had a new special category this month called patterns and it made me look around me and see patterns everywhere.
Thanks for your kind comments! |
