Thank you, Chan, for your suggestions and for taking the time to work on the image.! I like the slight warming that you did - very subtle, but effective. The lightening is a little problematic for me, in that some of the stamens now appear blown out when viewed full screen. My class instructor was very into darkness in photos, and very dismissive of images being evenly lit, so I have been experimenting with allowing more darkness in my images. I'm still undecided, but it is fun to work with something new. |

Thank you, Steven. Good suggestion about the brightness on the left edge - I'll work on that! |

Spectacular, Cindy! I'm so jealous, but happy that you got to see it. And the diamond ring photo is fantastic! |

Beautifully done! I am so jealous. I flew to San Antonio, Texas, and dragged five family members along with me to view lots of clouds that got very dark for about 4 minutes. Very disappointing, but still an interesting experience. The eclipse over a frozen lake is spectacular! Thanks so much for sharing. |

Beautiful image! I think the slight magenta overlay might be what gives it a dreamy appearance. Your crop puts more attention on the people and the water and reveals the ancient, decaying building without the modern parts. The lone boat helps give a sense of scale. |

You look so proud of your granddaughter (you could easily pass as her father!) Excellent job processing that cell phone photo. You both look so happy! |

Thank you, Lance! There were definitely gods and goddesses in the class - so creative. It was a fun class. Your presentations about Japanese and Chinese aesthetics sound very interesting. |
