I like this image - it has an old-timey feel to it. The clouds add a lot, and the bridge and city in the background are interesting. Nice view from your local cafe! |

I get a feeling of contemplation, more than waiting, in this image, which is neither here nor there, since I enjoyed looking at it. I visited your DD18 image also, and I like the way you put the elements together. Both images are excellent - it's amazing how different they are! |

The range of tones in your B&W rendition is very nice. The straight-on perspective makes for a very busy image with no particular place for the eye to rest. Since B&W is already unnatural, I have no problem with the processing, but it might be interesting to try more of a side angle to cut down on the all-the-same busyness. |

I really like that the rafters are relatively close to the viewer. You really captured their personal interaction - it looks like they are enjoying floating down the river and talking to each other, and perhaps don't care too much about where they are going. The water and trees behind them gives a sense of place, but the story seems to be about their interaction and enjoyment. I like the B&W - I think it adds to the calmness of the image. |

A great subject for B&W, and your processing is beautiful. The extra buildings make it feel like a cityscape, and that would be enhanced if the buildings were not identical, but you were going for something different, as far as I can tell, and the compositing is very well done. |

What a great action shot! And perfect focus. The diagonal position of the gymnast makes for a nice composition. I love the denoise feature, especially for photos taken at higher ISOs. |

Thank you, Cindy. I do think it was a hawk, but too far and too dark to really identify. I liked the sense of scale the bird suggests. |

Thank you, Lance. The dreaminess is what I was after, as well as feeling like the bird and I were both contemplating the moon. |

As I recall, a fence was in the way. It would have been cool with the bird in the moon, but I did like the bird looking at the moon. |
