I know what you mean about missing things and messing things up - I do that all the time! I did it again at my grandson's H.S. Graduation - missed the caps being thrown in the air. Fortunately, every once in a while something works, and I decide not to retire my camera after all! Thanks for your comments. |

Thank you! I'm not very good at street photography but I lucked out with this one! |

Hi Cindy! How nice to have horses as neighbors! This is a very interesting detail of a horse's existence, and I can see it as a part of a series. I especially like how the light strikes his mane. Your depth of field is just right for this shot. |

Hi Will! I really like this image. The variation in focus reminds me of the transitory nature of all of our sensory experiences, and that we often pick and choose what to focus on. It also reminds me that there is much more out there than I think there is! |

Beautiful, peaceful image, Dale! You certainly achieved your goal. Minor detail: I would very much like to see the corner of the dock - it is unclear how this structure attaches to the land and I keep going back to it and wondering. |

Beautiful image, Steven! And your use of the new photoshop tools is beyond impressive! I haven't tried the remove tool and I am wondering how one accesses the beta version. I may have to get over my Ps phobia! But all the PS magic would have been worthless without your spot-on focus and exposure. |

Hi Chan! I am amazed at the difference in mood between the color and the monochrome! Your cropping really adds to the feeling and emphasizes the outward gruffness of his appearance. Your processing is perfect! |

I love the dark branches - almost like lightning! They anchor the whole image. Monochrome enhances this effect, but I imagine the color version would have some of the same effect since there was probably a lot of green that wouldn't be too distracting. |

Thank you, Steven! I've never seen anything like it either. It looked very real, not like a costume. |
