Absolutely amazing! Still don't understand where the deep blue color came from. The Photoshop part sounds daunting. Did you ever get to the exercise? |

Thanks for your kind comments! The part above the surface acts as a sail and moves it through the water - all the better to sting you, my dear! |

Hi Cindy,
I really like your image, especially the composition and the depth of field. It conveys how many made this ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. And it makes one wonder how people in power can justify their selfish actions that continue to lead to the need for such sacrifices. |

Hi Will!
I find this image fascinating! The change in focus, the color shift, the interesting reflections of light and the star bursts all add interest. Since it is an abstract, I was wondering what it would look like rotated 90 degrees to the right! I look forward to hearing how it was done.

Hi Steven,
What a great idea for a rainy day! My club recently had a selfie challenge, which we all enjoyed. Something like your experiment would be a logical follow-up to that, so thank you for the idea! I totally get the 100+ tries to get the shot, but it is so satisfying when you get it, which you totally did! Focus, stop-motion and your choice of shirt are all excellent. |

Hi Chan! The colors translated to tones very nicely! and I really like the randomness of it. Sometimes still life photos can seem stilted, but this looks very natural and unposed. |
