Thank you, Cindy! Yes, it was a photo trip and we spent part of our time on a boat checking on icebergs, a few whales and other boats. We did some walking and hiking to get views of the icefjord and the Icefield Center. I feel very lucky to have gotten to visit Greenland. |

Very nice action shot with the ball in the air! Thanks, Chan, for explaining that orange symbol. I can't believe how clean their white clothes are! Great focus - did you hand hold? |

Thanks Steven. We did chase that boat around to get that shot! I didn't get one with it exactly in the triangle, though some were closer. This one felt the most balanced to me.
In the distance are more icebergs. This is near the mouth of the Ilulissat Icefjord. The glacier front used to be near that area, but it has receded a lot, leaving behind an underwater moraine which traps the larger icebergs coming down the fjord and causes a gridlock of ice in the fjord itself. It's a truly amazing area and deserves its selection as a world heritage site. |

Hi Will,
What a beautiful child! And looking right at the camera! I love seeing how children have a totally different experience than their caregivers when they are carried around. I'm not sure I would crop it - it would be nice to reduce the amount of the man's arm, but I really like the glimpse of his face which shows how his attention is directed differently from the child's attention. |

Hi Dale,
Very interesting travel image - makes me want to go there, which is one sign of a successful travel photo. I might have cropped up a small amount from the bottom, and I wish there was a smidge more breathing room at the top so the church spire was not cut off, but these are minor points. |

Hi Steven,
You did a great job capturing how absorbed the couple was in their selfie efforts! What a great idea to go around the fountain and capture the droplets. I like your choice of B&W as it focuses the viewers' attention on on their expressions! |

Hi Chan,
You are getting very inventive about finding images at homw! I like what the colorizer filter did - you achieved the feeling of an old photographic print. The walls detract from that feeling a bit because they are so bright white, especially near the top of the image, but I imagine the fluorescent light had something to do with that. |

I really like the B&W original, but I admit to having much difficulty with the main image. The bottom part looks like plants and their reflection, but I am really having trouble with the upper part. The sky looks like it may have been replaced, but not entirely. It also looks like there may be stars or droplets or dust in the air. No amount of squinting or sunglasses is helping me. I'm afraid I don't have anything constructive to say and look forward to you and others enlightening me! |
