Yes, patience is a steep learning curve, especially with birds! You got all the heads up, so congratulations! I have been trying to work with B&W and have been told that I need more contrast and a wider tonal range, so I have been trying to force myself to make my photos more dramatic, but haven't quite mastered that yet. I think you got pretty close! |

Beautifully captured bird - and thanks for pointing out the leg bone! Very nice focus, and the color is wonderful. I know how easy it is to shoot over 200 images of a single subject! |

Hi Chan,
Thanks for your comments! I see what you mean about the exposure and I will go back and try different things. I think I had it right in color, but the B&W conversion changed things and I neglected to correct for that. Always glad to get constructive feedback! |

Hi Steven,
Thanks for your comments! I actually did get a lenskirt before I left on the trip, but had a very difficult time using it. It only worked if I was at a right angle to the window, and I almost never was. I need a lot more practice using it, especially under pressure. |
