I really like the bright area - I think your image shows people conducting their business in dark, enclosed places while the bright and sunny world continues on outside. |

Old time look with modern time trains! Makes me so nostalgic about travel. I like your choice of B&W and f/11 worked very well to get excellent focus throughout. The three trains seem to point at the waiting crowd with their luggage, standing in patient lines. Wonderful image! |

Thanks Steven! Actually it's quite a large lizard - about 16 inches. I'm not sure what the yellow is, but it is there in the raw image as well. A lot of the rocks were that yellow color, too, so it may just be reflected light onto the animal. It was on a rock, so I could get on his level by crouching a bit, and it was hand held - he was very cooperative! |

Thank you Steven! I've heard Photopills mentioned but it always sounded so complicated. Your explanation clarifies it and I will definitely give it a try! |

A lovely portrait, Jo, and really elevated by your choice of pose and that wonderful dress, and of course your beautiful daughter with her amazing hair! I like both color and B&W. Thank you for explaining your methods. |

Hi Dale,
Earlier today I was thinking about getting a wide angle lens and even looked up possibilities and prices. Then I saw your image and it is one more reason why that will be my next lens purchase. The sense of size and complexity of the engine is just super! And the detail is so clear. I have never experimented with Nik Detail Extractor - Nik is just full of surprises. A wonderful image and an education, besides! |

Hi Steven,
Your image embodies everything I like about B&W! It is so clear and crisp - hard to believe that bright building is a mile away! I totally agree about the crop. And I am amazed at the depth of field at f/5.6 and the almost star-burst like quality of some of the lights. So well done! I was wondering why you chose the border you did. |

A wonderful photo, Chan! And you did a great job in post processing - I would have never guessed you had to deal with a -2.0 exposure compensation. I've done things like that many times. I love that the top of the stairs looks so enticing, yet the boy is more involved with his phone. Another instance of youth being wasted on the young! |

I love the triptych idea as well as the individual images! I like that there are some concrete aspects to the images (the trees) as well as the mysterious, out of focus cups. And the three iterations makes it feel like a recurring event with very slight variations. Very creative! |
