I belong to group 87, but I love to visit group 2 because you are all so talented and inspiring. I am amazed you got this sharp, beautiful image without a tripod. Every part of the dancer is so graceful and expressive and you caught it perfectly! |

Thank you, Mike! I am going to try your suggestion of the radial spin blur for the wheels. We did a little bit of blur in my beginning class, but not radial, so I will have to play with it and perhaps check out some tutorials. I appreciate your suggestions! |

Black and white really suits this early morning, overcast day. I love the peaceful mood it conveys - not the typical image of Venice. I like it very much! |

Hi Mike!
You are quite the master of architectural photography! What an interesting perspective on this church. You give us a view that captures the whole experience in one image - in some ways a more exciting view than we would have gotten in person. I recently got a 14 mm lens and have been struggling a bit to learn how to use it. I think it will be a while before I can do something like what you accomplished! |

Hi Irene,
I love the moody mist from the hot water and also
the reflection of the trees. It's really nice that your were able to get the entire length of the trees in the reflection - nice job positioning yourself! |

Hi Lance,
I really like the moodiness of the image and I am impressed with how you were able to balance the glare and the shadows with minimal processing. And with film! I took a beginning film class and I know I would have found your subject extremely challenging. Beautiful work! |
