I was trying to capture the stamen and the only way I could firgure out how to do that was with this angle, otherwise it blended into the rest of the flower. I agree that the sky starting the way it did caused a blunt change in background but couldn't find a way to avoid it. thanks for the comments and suggestions! : ) |

Very interesting flower. The background and flower go well together but almost too well. I can appreciate a soft elegant picture but I think i would of liked a bit more color pop from the flower, just enough to make it stand out a smidge more. The composition is very nice and the colors are very appealing. It give off a very dreamy vibe. Good work keep it up! |

I love the soft pink of the flower.. It grabs my attention without being extremely bold. The pink showing in the corners is very distracting to me as well as the bright light hitting some of the leaves. I think there is potential for sure with a few tweaks. Keep it up! |

Well Bill I have to say that I LOVE the original...that is an amazing flower. But the composition of the cropped version is also pleasing to my eyes. there is a smidge of noise in between the yellow stems that is a big distracting to me. (I hate noise) The colors are gorgeous and I love the detail! Great picture... Keep it up! |

As a photographer I can say that I have and would do alot of scetchy things in order to get the picture I was after, but bringing a spider into my house would not be one of them. Darn things scare the S**T out of me. With that being said I like what you were going for. I think using a higher aperture to bring more of the spider into focus would of made it even better. The noise is very distracting to me, but I understand its easy to get it and sometimes not as easy to get it to go away. Very creative capture tho. Keep it up! |
