Very nice. I think you captured the feeling you were going go. Soft but yet powerful. I think black and white is perfect for this shot. I like the idea of increasing the brightness in the middle like Bob mentioned and I think making the edges just a bit more bold would make the image pop just a little but not enough to take away the soft look your going for. Love the composition, and its very nice for the eyes to stare at. I agree with Carol it would be a great wall piece. |

The crop is nice, makes me wonder what the rest of the feather looked like.. I like the mystery of it. I like the background and would agree that plain black probably would of been a bit boring. The focus is perfect, and the details are fantastic. Great job! The only thing is that I would of liked the individual pieces of the feather to flow in the same direction and there are a few spots a tad too bright for my eyes, but overall its a great pic. Good job! |

Very interesting. I agree with the last two comments, the textures and depth are both great. it looks like if I touched the pictures I would feel the little bumps in the center. The different shades of color makes the viewer have a reason to scan the entire image. Good job |

Very interesting image. The bright colors give a happy vibe.
I like the texture you added to the background, but I wonder if changing the background color to a grey or similar would help make the flower pop off the background. It looks like the original image is slightly out of focus, possibly to close for the lens to completely focus. Your editing did help with this issue but the saturation of the red is bit too much for my eyes. Changing the color of the background may allow the saturation of the flower to be lowered but still ending with that bold color. All in all very unique pic. : ) |

Thank you both for your comments. Bob I think I agree that the bump in the orange is a nice touch. Its a subtle change but does add a bit more va va voom to the overall appeal. Thanks |
