50 Feb 19 Reply I also like the idea of a tighter crop - right in close on that textured middle - options are endless :) Feb 15th
50 Feb 19 Comment Nice conversion to black and white and good choice to darken the background - otherwise all those leaves would have been a distraction. I don't feel this image is sharp though - even when I looked at the colour version. A nice study of shapes and textures. Feb 10th
50 Feb 19 Comment I always photograph old doors, windows, stairs whenever I travel. Where you have cloned out the mat hasn't been blended properly (a hard task I'm sure) and it looks a little off. Overall I felt the image was rather one dimensional - where have the shadows gone, the light areas? Black and white definitely make the textures stand out in this picture. Feb 10th
50 Feb 19 Comment I like this idea - I too find the softness at the front of the image a little distracting - especially the light threads of the pocket. I'm not sure you need all the image on the right - have you thought about a crop in that area as it doesn't add anything to the picture. This way there would be less soft focus in the picture and may make it look more balanced? Definitely thought provoking in terms of processing! Feb 10th
50 Feb 19 Comment Good choice to convert to B&W as it shows up the textures really well and almost makes the image appear 3D. Good use of lighting to focus our eyes on the subject. Personally I feel that the horse has been overdone in sharpness area. Feb 10th
50 Feb 19 Comment I like this in black and white as the green in the colour image distracted me. I enjoyed looking in the reflections to see what I could find and can imagine these people discussing the merits of this bike and that. The vignetting has worked well as it makes the viewer look where you want them to - on the decal and reflections. As Chuck mentioned though this should then be the sharpest part of the image. 50 Feb 19 Comment I hadn't noticed the number on the back bike until I read the comments - now it's all I see. I like how you have an uneven number of bikes and that you can see each one individually. I'm not sure about the flip - Cindy mentioned her eyes travel left to right and like the position - however for me I would prefer on the Right. Its all an individual choice. Black and white works well for this image. Feb 10th
