I think this is a great capture. The picture is sharp and I can see the water droplets falling off the stick. The herons body is also sharp and I can see the movement in the wings. I feel that the background is out of focus so as not to distract my eye. Stunning!. |

Ginny the rock face is stunning on its own, however the sun caught where is is just finishes it off by adding impact. I would perhaps have cropped in from the left to up to the rock face to get the sun onto the thirds but rules are made to be broken and it is a stunning capture. Well worth the wait. |
