66 Apr 26 Comment Again Steve, you have shared a lovely image with us. What you did in processing to ignite the sky and reveal wildebeests in the foreground adds a lot of pop to another possible award winning photograph. Apr 1st
66 Apr 26 Comment Emil, I like how you captured the dappling of light in this image. The bench invites you to sit, to reflect in peace. Lovely! Apr 1st
66 Apr 26 Comment Henry, retaining the ball makes this an interesting image. Thank you for the background information. Paths and stairs arrest my attention too. You used the stairs well in this captivating composition. Apr 1st
66 Apr 26 Comment Jack, this image reminds us of John Steinbeck, but certainly not grapes of wrath. I like the ample use of leading lines. I don't think you have a hot spot issue. My eye wants to do something with the sky, not sure what, so disregard. Interesting perspective. It is easy to take the seat in your tractor. Apr 1st
66 Apr 26 Comment Arik, it's easy to like what you did in post processing. The increase in details and texture add a lot of depth and life to this image. I especially like how you used the trees to guide the viewers eye into this very fetching image. Apr 1st
66 Apr 26 Comment Melanie, this is a story, not just a photograph. For me, key elements are the hat resting nearby, partially laced shoes and the lottery tickets in his hand. The rough texture of the wood cabinet to the left side of your gentleman adds context. You've proved again that IR is good for street photography. Apr 1st

88 Apr 26 Comment Quang, such a wonderful composition. There are so many photographs of the Tidal Basin, it is a challenge to offer a fresh look, but you have certainly achieved it. The key is putting the Magnolia blossoms in the foreground, instead of the overworked Cherry blossoms, framing in the Washington Monument against an uplifting blue sky, and clipping the tree branches hitting the monument. Nicely done. Apr 11th
88 Apr 26 Comment Sanat, of all the images you have shared with us, I like this one the most. It reminds me of the work of Steve McCurry, which is high praise. The 2 women with the silks approaching each other spaced nicely above the arch of chilli pepper workers is a lovely compositional element. This photo is worth printing and hanging on your wall. Thanks for sharing it. Apr 11th
88 Apr 26 Comment Don, this is so creative. Looking at the original, not many photographers would imagine what was in your mind's eye. I like the conversion to black & white and the strong vignetting. My only recommendation for consideration concerns the shadow areas. Would lightening them a bit still be in service of the effect you wanted? Apr 11th
