Jack, China is heaven for a photographer. Go there. Give yourself some time. Contrary to stereotype, Chinese people like gray haired old fellows taking photographs. |

Emil, thanks for the adjustments. The vignette adds that special touch in composition. I am lucky to travel to China and Japan. My wife is a biochemist from China. |

Emil, I really like the s-curve in the road, and how you captured the tree reaching for the sky. Masterful work in processing, transforming a heavy dark image into a light and lively image. |

Henry, gold mind for photographers indeed . . . and you got rich. I like the linear composition and can appreciate your decision to replace the sky. Glad clouds were not included. |

Jack, this image floats. It reminds me of lovely scenes presented at the Banff Film Festival. I've had some luck removing lens flares using the Smudge Tool at a low setting. |

Arik, the side lighting is so dynamic, suggesting a storm is coming. I admirm your readiness to switch from drone to IR. It so hard to find good IR subjects at this time of year, but you certainly did. |

Melanie, good use of the bike path, and I am glad you included the cyclist. Don't fret about not capturing him in a highlight ban. As subject matter, it worked well as IR. Nice! |

Steve, of all the images you have shared with us, I like this one the most. It is elegant and visually graceful. The trees are beautiful, so glad you did not crop them, and they blend with the zebras. This image should be hanging on a wall in a significant room in your home. |

Sanat, this image documents what a cold desert is. For my eye, the flowers add a lot, so I suggest cropping to emphasize them. You might consider selecting one of them, copying it, and pasting it somewhere on the middle, left side of the image. Also, why not enhance the color of the flowers? |

Brian, this is such a verdant image, so full of life. I like the distant mist. The tall unfamiliar tree (I should know the name) is a compositionally centering element. |

Impressive work Quang. It takes skill and practice to stitch 6 images. The outcome is simply lovely. |

Brian, even with a bit of grain, and the use of a 800mm lens at 1/000th, this image is quite sharp. I like what you did to lighten the shadows so the viewer can see more of the geese. Including exactly four geese is strong compositional element. |

Don, good use of a 28mm lens. Perfect choice. Next time you are in Bahia De La Choya, I urge you to get your feet wet. I wish there was more reflection and you were about 50 yards closer to shore. As is, the shot is fetching, but tighter and with a reflection, it would be spectacular.

Good feedback Quang. Indeed, the image is a tad too saturated and I like your suggestion for crop. Thank you. |
