Melanie, thanks for refering to me as Chuck. In the bio I should have used "Chuck". Thanks for the positive comments. I've already fixed the tilt, it is subtle until you notice it. |

Henry, I fiddle with contrast usually selecting a level less contrasty than what Gary and others recommend. Darn, the image is a tad tilted. Gotta fix that. Thanks for the comments. |

My goodness Gary, I did not notice the tilt until you and the others pointed it out. Will fix that in the master file. Thanks! |

Arik, thank you for the comments on composition. I'm not that deliberate about composition, just go by a gut feel. Thanks for the feedback. |

Glad the replaced grass is natural looking. Thanks for the suggestions Steve. |

Steve, I find this to be an interesting, but complex image. My eye wants to define 3 subjects: the two buildings and boat. Anything that can be done to draw a bit more attention to the boat would strengthen the composition, IMHO. Wow, the sky is so dynamic. Beautiful. |

Emil, having taught at a Franciscan University for over 4 decades, I am biased to anything having to do with St. Francis. This statue is lovely, capturing the reflection adds much. Thank you for deleting the car. Thank you for sharing this fetching image. |

Henry, I can see why you went of your way to photograph this grist mill. Often a color photo is taken, but this IR version is gorgeous. A very strong composition, an award winner for sure. |

Gary, indeed, the details matter with this image. I also like what you did to contrast the sky with the trees. Enhancing the brightness in the middle of the photo strengthened the compostion. Absolutely lovely. |

Arik, you have shown that the planning of a shot is more of the art of photography than the photograph itself. Even the time of day was well selected. Cropping and processing is spot on. Splendid image. |

Melanie, I like how you caught the two contrasting expressions of the tea workers, which converted a photo into a story. Showing how they are consumed and swamped by the tea surrounding them draws attention to the nature of their toil. |

Sanat, you did masterful work bringing color, depth and life to the submitted image. I like the use of the grass as foreground. The river guides the eye of the viewer to the bridge. Nice job. |

Brian, staging a shot from a high point has a lot of compositional advantages; however, it can also increase the complexity of an image by creating multiple focal points. Cropping might help, if you agree. In the original, the sky is overexposed. You did a lot in post processing to recover it, but it is still a bit washed. |

All the battlefields of the Civil War are records of sadness and tragedy. This image captures those feelsings. The long exposure helped render a lot of detail, yet did not over expose the lovely sunset, so well placed behind the cannon. Nicely done! |

Mark, what an impactful image. It says a lot about the photographer. I'd like to learn more about this photo, not only the tech info, but more so, when and where it was taken. |
