66 Apr 25 Comment Emil, such a strong composition of sturdy straight railroad tracks against the natural patterns in the trees and the soft misty clouds. Allowing a light patch to appear in the sky and bringing out the faint ridgeline adds much depth to this already strong image. Apr 8th
66 Apr 25 Comment Henry, what a lovely composition of shapes, manufactured and natural. I like Gary's suggestion and it reinforces my initial thought about limiting or eliminating the windows in the background (which would be a lot of work and of questionable value). Apr 8th
66 Apr 25 Comment Gary, I like the way you have drawn attention to the middle of the image by raising the highlights on the dam. Ansel Adams likes the details rendered in the shadows which then contrast strikingly with the hazy soft sky. Apr 8th
66 Apr 25 Comment Jack, I can appreciate why you cropped for more of a pano layout. My eye imagines fewer clouds or a darker sky behind the trees to make the trees standout and also allow the lily pads to become a more dominate subject. Apr 8th
66 Apr 25 Comment Arik, in addition to a play on architecture, this image is about details and crisp lines. My eye imagines the image without clouds, just a dark, high-contrast sky. Apr 8th
66 Apr 25 Comment Melanie, wow, this image is right outside your door. I too have been intrigued and attracted to the shapes rendered by tree roots and trunks. The play of light in foreground enhances the image. No need to change a thing. Apr 8th

88 Apr 25 Comment Quang Phan, I appreciate the work you did to delete the people and other distractions. Shutter speed was perfect to render smooth movement of the falls. My only suggestion is do what you can to bring more attention to water, perhaps by vignetting its surroundings Apr 8th
88 Apr 25 Comment Sanat, you have done a lot to increase interest in this splendid landscape. Increasing details and bringing out color gave the image more pop. My only suggestion to improve it concerns too much white at the mountain top. It appears overexposed. Apr 8th
88 Apr 25 Comment Brian, how fortunate you are to have visited Antarctica. This is a grand image with great impact. The shades of blue and white are mystical. To suggest scale, if you wish, why not include one of the walkers? Apr 8th
88 Apr 25 Comment Mark, both of these images are splendid. Composition is good. I like the colored one because it is more of a landscape. If you do not want the second building, it can be removed in PS. Apr 8th
