Emil, please forgive me, but I find the original IR colorized image to be more attractive than the B&W version, although both are quite appealing. |

Henry, you worked a lot to render the final image. Removing distractions allowed the boat to become the dominate and highly interesting subject of this lovely image. |

Gary, it is amazing what you did with a 12 megapixel camera. Postprocessing makes it look like you had much more resolution. Beyond the increased clarity and details, I like how the grass is illuminated. Keep unearthing these hidden gems. |

Jack, I can see what attracted you to this scene. The clouds are mystical. The bottom quarter of the image is a challenge. How would you feel about cropping it out? |

Arik, I very much like the way you created a lot of contrast between the sky and the chapel. Although the tree in the foreground could compete with the chapel, it does not; rather, it frames in the chapel and establishes a leading line to it. Nice work professor. |

Melanie, the clouds, reflections, black rocks and dried pond grass great a circular composition more than OK for infrared. Increasing the highlights near the shore added much to this placid scene. |

Henry, dark indeed it was and is. Volcanic eruptions are not always the fire & brimstone things often depicted. I like your crop and lightening. Thank you. |

Sanat, thank you for the kind comments. I agree with you about the sky. I'll look for a replacement. |

Sanat, I really like what you did to rescue the sky and bring out the rich colors in the rocks. You might consider removing the people in the distance leaving only the two men in the foreground. Your decision. |

Brian, the color contrast is fetching. I like what you did with the remove tool, one my favorite tools. I'd say, keep a good thing going, e.g., removing those white cars. You might also consider darkening the white wall and even the light gray street to draw even more attention to the lovely trees. |

Noah, it is hard to capture birds in flight let alone ones during feeding. I agree with Bev that cropping draws more attention to the gull. I also like the suggestion of placing the gull a bit more to the left of center, which reinforces the expected flight path of the bird. Your tweaking of contrast is spot on. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking forward to other photos you will share. |

Quang Phan, my eye says this is a collection of images. Zooming in and cropping could reveal some interesting alternatives, for example the sheep & goats near the cut in the earth, or those intriguing dark purple hills in the distance. Have fun with this. |

Brian, the stacking gave you the details and depth of field you wanted. The moon is small, IMHO. I've had this issue too, where the moon in one's eye is bigger than that captured. One solution is to take a second photo of just the moon with a telephoto then paste in. |

Mark, this is an incredible shot. You captured quite well the passing storm and such angry interesting clouds. I like the well-placed pelican. If you wish, punching up the blues might tell the viewer that the storm has passed? |
