Emil, I like the image as is. The light available did not give you many options to add tonal complexity, but you rescued this image. The final is far less flat and much more interesting than the original. |

Henry, wow, the detail in this image is magnificent. You used the resolution provided by the Sony A7R quite well. I like the composition, specifically how the shape of the tombstone, and trees reiterate each other. The shadow gives the image the balance it needs. |

Gary, where I live there are a lot of barns, sheds, mobile homes and other structures being reclaimed by Mommy Nature. I have had difficulty capturing something beautiful with them. The overgrowth is of course wild and cluttered. With your image, the overgrowth is "worn" by the barn like a winter shawl, and it tells the story of the barn's history. |

Jack, this is challenging light to work with. However, the reflection is very fetching and the scene overall is graceful. What about taking a risk with boat? Why not capture & copy it, enlarge it, then move it more towards the lilies? |

Arik, I like the quiet energy in this image and the way the path leads the viewer into it. The highlights are splendid. You took this photograph at the right time of day. Nice use of light. |

Melanie, I too like the color version. It makes the reflection of the jewel box and the circular fountains. My eye wants to see more of the distant horizon, but I am sure you framed the photo this way for good reason. |

Quang Phan, it was a pleasure bringing out the colors in this natural landscape. Thank you for recognizing the work that had to be done. Happy New Year to you. |

Thanks for the suggestion Brian. I'll work on it, but trying to also show the canyon-like walls that are in this magnificent park. |

Brian, this is a wild and interesting image. What fun you had creating it. I particularly like the ghostly runners. You handled the hot spots well and decreased noise without altering the effect you sought. |

Brian, this image is composed nicely with the strata in the rocks leading the eye to the sunset. It is unfortunate the sunset did not give you the colors you imagined. You might try using the object selection tool in PS to capture just the sky, copy, then paste it, then use the color mixture tools in Camera Raw filter to tweak the colors and dim the the bright sun. When done, flatten the layer you created. |

Mark, how lucky you were to catch this balloon passing by. Heightening the colors in the sky added much. The image is fine as is, but some viewers would want the balloon a bit left of center to suggest left-right movement. |

Sanat, I like the crop and the way you brought out the clouds in this splendid image. My only suggestion is use the saturation brush to slightly increase the saturation and illumination of the red tones in the boats. |

Quang Phan, this is a beautiful image. Splendid colors, lovely composition. I like the softness added in the distance. I'd suggest making even more of a DOF statement by selecting then sharpening the leaves in the foreground tree on the right side of the image. |
