The combination of subjects in this image is unexpected. The viewer immediately entertains questions about where and why? I am guessing that it is in a poor country, but the train tracks are in great shape. The landscape is flat. Cambodia! Like you observed, the tracks render a 3D quality to this curious interesting image. |

Being once a competitive cyclist, I immediately appreciated this image, and with our colleagues, applaud you taking an action shot in IR. Arik, is it an artifact of IR, or are the riders an older chubby group of men? Is this a group of masters racing? |

Certainly Melanie, this photograph is better in color than monochrome black & white. The blue in the sky with a matching blue in the river defines this image. The energy you brought out in the foliage, especially on the right side adds life to this scene. |

Like our colleagues, I like the simplicity of this image and respect your artistic courage for revealing beauty in a simple thing. Although the weeds in the lower-left of the image add to to its authenticity, my eye experiments with their removal for the purpose of drawing more attention to the feather-like plant. |

A beautiful photograph Henry. You did not need to crop it because it was so well framed and shot in the first place. Excellent color conversion, especially the blues in the sky and golden tans throughout. Your pre-sets (custom profile) worked well. |

Emil, you have taken an ordinary photo of a riverbank and transformed it into something artful. Flipping it gave it a better balance and feel. I like what you did to flatten and blur the water and give illuminating life to the foliage. |

Sanat, the decision to crop was smart. The original image was too busy, in my opinion. In processing you brought out the colors and rescued the sky, which was sorely needed. My eye likes simplicity so, I still find this image to be too rich. What if you elected to have the people and the raging river as your primary subject? A second crop might accomplish this, if you want this outcome.

Trey, I had places like Skunk Lake to frequent during COVID. These places served not only as a subject of photography but also a sanctuary from chaos. So, I am enjoying this photograph in this context, and seeing how again with a deliberate application of skill and knowledge, you have created an image for more than the mind to appreciate. |

Brian, I agree, this is an amazing view. I like the leaf-shaped window and how you used it to capture the tree. Raising the shadows revealed details in the rocks. Excellent photo, managed well in post processing. |

Mark, I like what you did to warm-up the colors. The stream is a strong leading line. Although the farmhouse is the subject of this photo, would you consider giving it less emphasis by darkening the white a notch? What would the image look like without the little garage? The top of the frame seems pinched especially if the farmhouse is the subject. Maybe by using Content Aware Fill you could add more room at the top? Your call.
