Henry, you did a lot of masterful work with this image. I particularly appreciate what detail extraction did to bring out the tree. The path is a strong compositional element. The sky is a great capture, perfect for IR. |

Emil, I can see why you were attracted to this scene. The sky is soft and lovely, and it contrasts with the sharp vivid details of the trees and grasses. Often we want more details but in this case, I wonder what would be rendered if the softness of the sky was repeated in the trees and grasses. |

Palli, this image is so organic, so full of life with all its chaos. I like the way you brought out the reflection and added highlights to the vegetation. Creepy, but beautiful. |

Gary, I continue to be amazed at how you can take an ordinary image without much potential and convert it to a masterpiece. I especially like and appreciate the work you did dodging and burning, and applying a sepia filter made a current moment seem historic. Bravo. |

Jack, this image takes the viewer by the hand and guides them to something heavenly. The reflections on the stones pulls the composition together. However, my eye wants a little more distinction and contrast between the trees and the clouds at the end of the stone lane (a minor thing). |

Arik, I especially like the tonality of this image. Adding texture to the border creates an intriguing effect. |

Melanie, you did a lot of work that does not meet the eye (so to speak). However, modifying the contrast and highlights of some pedals and the flowers rendered a lovely IR photograph. |

Gary, I also like, and a bit dislike, your version of my image. My dislike has more to do with the subject itself. For me, there is something intrinsically ugly about the big rocks and the slime and mold on them that even PS can't improve. |

Arik, the suggestion of using two images, one to show motion and the other to arrest details is clever. It would be particularly useful when the wind is moving foliage or when the image can only be taken handheld. Thanks! |

I very much like the possibilities you saw. It is much closer to what I had in mind, but was frustrated to achieve it. Thank you Henry. |

Quang Phan, this is such a well composed image. The contrast of the blues in the sky and water play well against the pink cherry blossoms. Very, very nice! |

Yes Brian, this is indeed an amazing image. You have done a lot to increase its appeal in PS. The fabricator in me wants to make the moon bigger, which you could easily do using the Object Selection tool. But your call. |

Brian, the simplicity of colors, browns, blues and white, makes this an attractive image. I agree with Mark about blurring the background a bit more and for the same reason, you might consider bringing out the whites more in the bird. |

Trey, such a poetic description of the scene! And I agree about feeling blessed just to behold this ordinary beauty. I like the composition, and your PS treatments. My eye wants to focus on the flag on the barn, which now is more common in our politically charged nation. Lovely! |

Mark, thank you for providing the history behind this shot. The crop was wisely done. The wall has an interesting but demanding presence. The slight saturation increase nicely brought out the rich Fall colors. Good work! |
