Emil, clouds, splendid clouds, full of life and energy clouds. We should be doing more IR work on clouds. I like what you did to increase the tonality and micro-contrast. My eye wants to see a little more detail in the shadows, but I can see why you darken the hilly region to better define the clouds as your subject. Thanks for sharing. Thanks for the inspiration to look up. |

Jack, bicycles, 2 bicycles near a placid canal is a story, not just another IR image. Both elicit feelings of peace and do so quietly. While I agree that the crop was necessary, it may have been too tight.
Thanks for sharing. It is an image that invites you to linger on it. |

Henry, like last month's submission, you have created an elegant, nuanced image of a flower. Your cropping is spot on, deleting unnecessary content while defining and drawing attention to your subject matter. Like last month, the tonality is simply lovely. |

Melanie, this is a near-perfect site for IR photography. So glad you found it and abstracted its visual gifts. The cabin, the pond, the leading line of the fence, and the foliage all contribute to the power of this absolutely splendid image. Wow! |

Palli, you have made an ordinary scene quite beautiful. I sometimes wonder about photography's role in creating unrealistic expectations of elegance and beauty, and as a consequence, we walk by not noticing how lovely the tree near the driveway can be. Thanks for the reminder. |

Gary, you asked "what do you see, experience and feel." Alfred Hitchcock has biased my view and feelings about birds. So, for me, the numerous birds are creepy and don't add much to a sense of whimsy. But the image is lovely. The soft tones and the capture of the mom and daughter walking is free spirited and whimsical. Thank you for tweaking and sculpting this image, and more so, sharing it and explaining how you made it. |

Again, Arik you are having fun with creativity. I'm impressed; it takes some skill and innate talent to judge the line for the rapid upward movement and estimating blur effects and shutter duration. What you did in post-processing blending the 2 images is seamless. I really like the image. Thanks for the inspiration to experiment. |

Thanks Trey. I will slightly desaturate the blue, much as I am addicted to rich deep colors. |

Trey. again, you have used LR and PS to bring more life into the image. I like the highlights you created which added depth even in the fog. Your photo captures so well the full-of-life organic spirit of a wetland. |

Quang Phan, you have a steady hand: Good detail despite the slow shutter speed. I like the way you saved the sky and brought out the colors in the foliage. The "S" bend in the river leads the viewer into the image. Good work. |

Mark, indeed you must have done a lot of work in Photoshop. I like the way you brought out the rain clouds and the image is balanced by the three spires. It is a complex image; perhaps, increasing highlights in the foreground while slightly darkening the background might add depth and better define the foreground as the primary subject? |

Sanat, what you did to transform the original to the final image is quite amazing. You introduced color to a nearly colorless image and added a needed subject in the form of the boat, which becomes a very believable part of the composition. Great work! |
