Henry, I like this scene. It makes one want to book a river trip. Converting to B&W instead of playing with color was a good choice, also eliminating the car on the left side. My eye also wants some cropping on left to better establish the church as the dominant subject. |

Emil, you looked up! It's something many photographers do too little of. I like the knurly bark and tortured irregularity of the branches. The bright sky contrasts strongly with the branches. I agree with Gary about the focus at the bottom. Perhaps cropping would help or using a plugin like Topaz sharpen might render more depth of field? |

Palli, such a creative image. That you conceived of such an image while looking at shopping carts speaks to your strength as a creative artist. I like the use of Flood 2, again I must say this is a use of an overlay many minds would not consider. Wonderful work! |

Melanie, these places off the beaten path cluttered with decarded junk are puzzling. Who takes the time and effort to put stuff there? In my area, the discards are 100lbs iron bathtubs and 50-year-old refrigerators. However, these places are attractive to IR photographers. Your image conveys the depressing tone of such an end-of-it-all place. Even the tree seems discarded. |

Arik, I like that you took a risk to be creative, and indeed this image is creative. Turning the forward and trailing cyclists into ghosts while allowing more sharpness and a dash of color to the cyclist in the middle is a strong element of composition. Thanks for suggesting that we IR photographers can capture images of things and people other than old buildings etc. |

Jack, I like the strong contrast with the dark sky and the smooth texture of the moss contrasted with the leaves and foliage. The image invites one to sit in the shade under the tree. Cool. |

What a surreal image; haunting too. I like the strong composition using the walkway and lines of trees to pull the viewer's attention to the middle and suggest movement to some mysterious place. Lucky for you, I bet the black dress reflected dark green hues. |

Hi Sanat. This is a photo that challenges one's sense of beauty. It reminds us that natural scenes are often untidy and somewhat chaotic. However, the ruthless, indifferent power of nature can be awesome. You captured this with this image of the Mangrove. The conversion to B & W added to the sense of desolation. One suggestion: use object selection to select the large piece of tree in the foreground, then lighten it so it contrasts more with the trees in the distance. |

Trey, so often I have ignored the effects of wind that can blur an otherwise technically spot-on image. Thanks for the tip. I like the peaceful placement of the barn and how it contrasts with the Lupines. My only suggestion is to experiment with using an adjustment layer to subtly deepen the purple tones of the lupines. |

Quang Phan, how creative! How patient! If I understand what you have done, it is clearly a fresh take on photographing fireworks. Beautiful results. |

I like the fresh perspective you took on this iconic bridge. Sky replacement was needed and was well done. Great coloration of the ocean. Nice work. |

I like this image as is. The water provides a strong compositional theme. The light is marvelous. High marks. |
