Jack, including the cemetery compels a provocative comparison between the distant houses with the tombstones. Taking IR photographs in the winter, I've found, can be a challenge. I like the suggestions of the others concerning increasing contrast and tonality to handle the flatness issue you raised. |

Emil, I liked the way you cropped this image making the dying tree the clear subject of this photograph. The wispy cloud adds depth and contrast. Nice! |

Arik, a very interesting image. Thanks for also sharing the iPhone image. It's curious with perspective being established how the house in the background appears as a kind of bird house. Interesting! |

Emil, as you have noticed and commented on with images I have submitted, paths, roads and trails are ideal compositional elements for IR images. So it is with the image you shared with us. However, this road not only S-curves away, but also twists upward rendering a very fetching image. |

Gary, what a lovely composition, and one not easily done with all the options such a scene offers. I like the tonal depth of this image and the sharpness of the foliage (particularly the palms). It's a well titled image. Thank you for sharing the serenity. |

Henry, a simply lovely shot. The image was made so much better by eliminating the wall and boaters. Putting the trees in the foreground created a more interesting composition, avoiding too much emphasis on buildings, which is very easy to do in a city like Prague. |

Melanie, there is such intense texture and detail in this image: ideal for IR. However, all this information may challenge composition too, specifically, the definition of the subject. I like rich energetic images, they're a feast for the eyes. |
