Hi Henry, welcome to this enthusiastic IR group. I've learned a lot from them, and I am sure you will too. I like the grand perspective of this image. Using presets in LR was a clever way to process the image. I like Gary's crop suggestion, overwise, it looks great. Nice start! |

Hi Melanie,
Clouds! Powerful clouds made to look even more so because of your skills in processing. I liked that you avoided using the highway as the center of your composition, in-fact, I'd consider removing the fog line. I also liked how you brought out the highlights in the distant hills making an image full of energy even more dynamic. |

Arik, after sending the image, when it was too late, I had the same reaction to the structures (blue barn & shed). They are distracting, not much, but . . . |

Gary, I like the way the increased contrast moves the eye more to the middle of the composition. Yes, like it! |

Rich, I too like dark space and heavy shadows, which are required for nightsky shots; however, I agree with Trey, that the image is too dark. If you can use a selection tool to capture only the cityscape, perhaps you can lighten just this part of the image? |

I like the site, I've been there, even recognize the tree. I do like John's suggestion to remove people and tables; however, if your purpose was to tell a human story, then do not change anything. |

You have the eye of an eagle. Although it was cloudy and the light was flat, it did have a slight west side bias. I will make changes in the sky replacement |
